Occasionally the Universe grants us the beautiful gift of the sunset and moonrise aligning just so we can delight in them both within moments of each other. When was the last time you noticed? On May 21st, this glorious sight wil be taking place and made even more dramatic as the moon rise will be full. 
Join me in honoring this beauty in our natural world on May 21 at 6:30pm with a sunset hike from Trippet Ranch to Parker Mesa Overlook (or as far as you chose to go, the hike will be out and back, so all levels/speeds welcome). Full distance round-trip to Parker Mesa and back to Trippet is 6.7 miles, but you can turn when ready (all heading back by 7:30p). 
The hike will be all on fireroads and is passable (with some effort) with an off-roading baby buggie so bring the littles if you chose. Doggies are not welcome in Topanga State Park.
